Reach Out & Read is a national early literacy program working with Sanford Pediatrics to share the lifelong benefits that result from families reading aloud to their children every day. Children are given a "prescription" to read daily for at least 15 minutes and given an age appropriate book during their Well Child Check-up.

Reach Out & Read es un programa nacional de alfabetización temprana que trabaja con Sanford Pediatrics para compartir los beneficios de por vida que resultan de que las familias lean en voz alta a sus hijos todos los días. A los niños se les da una "receta" para leer diariamente durante al menos 15 minutos y se les da un libro apropiado para su edad durante su chequeo de niño sano.
