Job Description: The BLU Resource Center is seeking a dependable and energetic Lead After School Teacher to support our school-age students in a structured, positive environment. Responsibilities include checking students in as they arrive off the bus, assisting with snack time, supervising homework completion, leading group activities, greeting parents at pickup, and following a daily lesson plan. The ideal candidate is organized, patient, and passionate about mentoring youth while maintaining a safe and engaging space.

Location: Estelle’s Childcare

Title: Infant Room Teacher

Job Description: The Infant Room Teacher at Estelle’s Childcare provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants ages 0–12 months. This position supports each child’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs through responsive caregiving and developmentally appropriate activities.

  • Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants

  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe classroom environment

  • Follow daily schedules and individualized care plans

  • Support early developmental milestones through play, tummy time, and interaction

  • Practice and monitor safe sleep procedures at all times

  • Follow all North Carolina licensing, health, and safety regulations

  • Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a positive classroom environment


Qualifications:

  • Experience working with infants preferred

  • Knowledge of infant care and safe sleep practices

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • EDU 119 preferred
