Training Calendar
To register for a training you must purchase the training which includes Demographics for each person attending.
POLICIES:

All training events require pre-registration online.

Payment may be made by card online via PayPal (if you want to pay by card, please select the PayPal option), check, or cash.

Check/cash customers please note that your registration is not valid until we receive payment.

Refunds/Credits: Credit is issued only if you cancel before the training session. Refunds will not be issued only a credit for another training session.

Demographics must be completely filled out for each person before adding Training to cart.

If you do not pay for the training and complete each demographic per person attending through our website you will not be sent a link.

ALL the sections under Your Demographics must be filled out to attend training.

Your order detail with the Zoom Link will be sent after you submit payment and a reminder email before the training will also be sent.

A desktop/laptop is STRONGLY recommended.

Certificates will be emailed to participants after the session IF they are in the meeting the entire time and actively participated throughout. If you do not have a printer, one will be mailed to you once all info is received.

Who needs training and how many hours? Individuals with...

a four-year degree or higher advanced degree in a childcare-related field of study from a regionally college or university must receive 5 clock hours
-
a two-year degree in a childcare-related field of study from a regionally accredited college or university, or persons with a North Carolina Early Childhood Administration Credential must receive 8 clock hours
-
a certificate or diploma in a childcare-related field of study from a regionally accredited college or university, or staff with a North Carolina Early Childhood Credential must receive 10 clock hours

a minimum of 10 years documented experience as a teacher, director, or caregiver in a licensed child care arrangement, must receive 15 clock hours
-
If none of the other criteria in this chart apply, at minimum, 20 clock hours must be received

Corrective Actions through State Agencies (DCDEE and/or Child Maltreatment)

When a DCDEE consultant of Child Maltreatment has an issued complaint Paula Shemanski (paulas@pfcf.org) is the contact person.

A training is developed by Paula to fit the center's corrective action plan and all staff is mandatory to attend with no credit received.

After the training we then alter and change their policies and procedures that correlate with the training and how to improve as a center/home/gs110.
