Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 28, 2026, when we take over the Dennis A. Wicker Civic & Conference Center for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and meaningful impact.

You may recall we had to pause the cornhole tournament last year as our community channeled its energy into helping those affected by Hurricane Helene's impact. But now, we are back and more energized than ever! This year, we are aiming to raise $10,000 to sustain the core programs that make a difference in the lives of children and families right here in Lee County.

Toss for a Cause is more than just a tournament; it's a critical fundraiser directly supporting our mission: Partnership for Children & Families believes that all children, youth and families should thrive in safe, stable and nurturing environments.

Every dollar raised goes toward our comprehensive suite of programs, structured around our Four Pillars of Impact:

• Early Childhood Support: Ensuring a strong foundation for children through programs like NC Pre-K and Child Care Scholarship programs.

• Family Support: Providing essential resources for families, including Parents as Teachers and The Happy Bottoms Bank.

• Community Support: Building social connections through initiatives like the Barbers & Beauticians and the Teen Outreach Program.

• Literacy Support: Fostering a love for reading through programs like Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and Reach Out & Read.
