Partnership for Children & Families invites preschool-age children, their families, and childcare providers to join us for a FREE morning of stories and fun at the Lee Regional Fair🎡
Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 17, 2026, and join us for Story Time at the Fair, a special morning designed just for our youngest fairgoers!
Gates will open at 9:00 AM, followed by Story Time at 9:30 AM. After the story, families and childcare groups are invited to enjoy select fair rides, tour the Agricultural Exhibit Hall, and visit the animals at no charge until the gates close at 12:00 PM.
Event Schedule
9:00 AM – Gates Open
9:30 AM – Story Time
10:00 AM – Enjoy rides, tour the Agricultural Exhibit Hall, and visit the animals
12:00 PM – Gates Close
Who Can Attend?
Story Time at the Fair is open to preschool-age children, their parents, and their childcare providers.
Best of all, this event is FREE!
Getting to the Event
Entrance and parking for Story Time at the Fair will be available only from N 5th Street at Gate # 4.
Families and childcare providers are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive in time for Story Time at 9:30 AM.
A Morning of Stories, Learning & Fair Fun
Story Time at the Fair gives young children an opportunity to experience the excitement of the fair in a fun and age-appropriate way. From enjoying a story together to seeing the animals and exploring the fairgrounds, there will be plenty for little ones to discover!
Partnership for Children & Families is excited to present this special event in partnership with the Sanford Lions Club Lee Regional Fair, Lee County Libraries, and NC Cooperative Extension.
